Our Story

The Story Behind Modanaire

Every culture has clothing that becomes a natural part of everyday life. That's the thought Modanaire began with.

From American T-shirts and denim to Japanese minimalism and European everyday style, everyday clothing can carry a cultural identity without needing an occasion.

India has an incredible clothing heritage of its own. Yet Indian wear is still largely associated with festivals, celebrations, and special occasions.

We believe it deserves more.

Something you could reach for without overthinking it. Something that felt comfortable from the first hour to the last, but still made you feel put together. Clothing with enough personality to feel like you, without trying too hard to make a statement.

That space became Modanaire.

We love Western wear for the ease, comfort, and versatility it brings to everyday life. We don't want to replace it—we want Indian wear to have a place alongside it.

Modanaire is a mission for us: to create a place for Indian wear in the everyday segment and help build an everyday Indian wear identity of our own..

Because we don't believe everyday clothing should feel ordinary.

We begin with kurtas and kurtis—not as typical traditional wear, but reimagined for how we live today: contemporary, comfortable, effortless, and beautiful.

Because we don't want people to wear Indian simply because it represents our culture.

We want them to wear it because they genuinely love how beautiful it is.

Thoughtful in design.
Effortless in comfort.
Made for everyday life.

That is Modanaire.
